“Beirut in Black and White” is a short film directed by the Lebanese Film maker Marie-Louise Elia.

This short film is inspired from Woody Allen’s film “Manhattan” talks about Karim who is looking for his fiancée – who abandoned him on their wedding day – in the neighborhoods of Beirut. Through his interior monologue, we discover the love/hate relationship he has with Beirut (and his fiancée) and his mixed feelings towards both of them. He is constantly distracted by his thoughts and eventually becomes wanted nationwide.

Enjoy watching the full short film here!!
